Asians have embraced the all-time favorite card game (Baccarat) as one of their favorites on both land based and online casino sites. Because of its popularity, there was a time when the casinos have developed a new variation called 7 Up Baccarat which adds new excitement to the game. So without further ado, here are the 7 up baccarat rules and gameplay guide to help you get started with this variation.
7 Up Baccarat Rules and Gameplay
The rules of this variation doesn’t have much of a difference with the traditional baccarat. A machine that continuously shuffles the six decks of cards and players place their wagers on the table layout on either Player or Banker sport prior to the dealing.
When you look at the table layout where all the action begins. You will notice a huge number seven “7” printed above the Player hand. This indicates that the first card the Player spot receives will be always a seven. Like the usual, both hands will receive two cards to complete the round. As you can see, the drawing of cards is like the traditional baccarat but with the difference that Player hands receive an automatic 7 as its first card.
Three outcomes are possible: Player hand win, Banker hand win and Tie just like in the baccarat we know. Except when the Player hand wins with a count of seven, which pays 1 to 2. When the Banker wins with a count of seven, the payout is 9 to 5. Tie bet is the same, if the result is a Tie, all bets are returned to the players and no winner will be declared.
7 Up Baccarat also offers side bets. The typical side bet is the “Ties” which gives a payout of 7 to 1 whenever the two hands push with the same total count, but if it is a seven-point tie the payout will be 9 to 1. Second side bet is “Super Sevens” which is another unique feature of this variation. The payout depends on how many sevens (7) are dealt on both hands, including the seven which is automatically added to the Player hand.
Payouts for Super Seven side bets are as follows:
Number of Seven(s) Payout
Two 2 to 1
Three 5 to 1
Four 17 to 1
Five 70 to 1
Six 700 to 1
